Feeling Supreme @ SupremeChCh

Last week Han and I had the pleasure of driving three hours to Christchurch for a 5 minute meeting regarding our Visas. Okay, Han drove and I made the experience more pleasant for the both of us by singing The Weeknd in her ear for 2.5 hours (half an hour was devoted to the massive custard square we brought from the fairly bake house - obviously). 
Naturally, Christchurch was confusing and grey and given the choice we probably would have stayed at the bakehouse. However, I was keen to check out Supremes new diggs in Christchurch and see how it compared to the photo's i'd seen on instagram.


Well, it took us a while to find it... a while. We finally did however and we enjoyed a coffee and a little feed whilst trying to pretend it wasn't pouring with rain outside and we were somewhere other than Christchurch. I ordered the Cauliflower and Mint soup which was appropriately warm and peppery which distracted me for a good ten minutes.  Han ordered her standard eggs on toast with Avocado, because there is never a time when Hannah isn't going to order the meal which features avocado in it.


The space itself is very "minimalist lunchroom" which is very trendy at the moment, and the red and white supreme colours are thematic throughout. The atmosphere was a little severe feeling but I imagine it would feel quite different on a sunny day - if Christchurch has those! Obviously the coffee was pefect and I also wanted to buy every cake and slice on the counter, so, pretty good job supreme. Also, they don't serve alcohol to dicks or intoxicated people.
